PoS system developers can scan the standard PDF417 code containing the paid PayPal Invoice ID using the PayPal Invoice API to settle completed Digital Debit transactions initiated at a register. Multiple devices are each assigned a unique Terminal ID allowing a large merchant to integrate a federated Digital Debit device coupled to each register location using a single PayPal merchant account.
The last successfully paid PayPal Invoice ID can also be found as a PDF417 code in the App settings page of both the seller and payer.
